Kenzie Petty won Survivor 46, defeating Charlie Davis and Ben Katzman in a 5–3 jury vote. Ben won final immunity and brought Charlie to the Final Three; Kenzie earned the last seat by beating Liz Wilcox in fire-making. The season finale, titled “Friends Going to War,” ended with Charlie as runner-up and Kenzie as the winner.
How the Final Three took shape
The pre-finale final five were Maria Shrime Gonzalez, Charlie Davis, Liz Wilcox, Ben Katzman, and Kenzie Petty, according to Entertainment Weekly’s May 17, 2024 report. The finale’s closing sequence narrowed that group to three through immunity, a choice, and fire-making.
Ben’s immunity win and choice
Ben won the final immunity challenge and chose Charlie as his companion in the Final Three. That left Kenzie and Liz to compete for the remaining place.
Kenzie wins fire-making
Kenzie beat Liz in the fire-making challenge, securing her spot beside Ben and Charlie at the final Tribal Council.

The jury vote: Kenzie wins 5–3
The jury awarded Kenzie the win over Charlie by five votes to three. Ben received no votes. The final result distinguishes the finalists’ endgame routes: Ben controlled who joined him through his immunity choice, Kenzie won her place through fire-making and then the jury’s decision, and Charlie reached the Final Three but finished second.
Charlie had spoken before the finale about the challenge of presenting his game to the jury: “The most difficult aspect of managing the jury is owning your game without pissing anyone off — without disrespecting people.” He made that comment in a pre-finale interview with Entertainment Weekly, republished by Yahoo Entertainment. It describes his stated approach, not the jury’s reasoning for its eventual vote. The available finale coverage establishes the outcome but does not provide a basis for declaring that one contestant objectively played the “best” game.
