Summer X Salt Markets return to Clarko Reserve in Trigg on 24 October 2026, with market mornings scheduled through 20 March 2027. The City of Stirling lists the family-oriented event as free. The October 19 date in the older headline referred to the 2024 season, not this year’s opening.

The current calendar lists 14 market dates, generally from 8am to 1pm. Some dates are designated special pop-ups.

The market brings together local artists, designers and makers alongside food and drink. The City describes a program that can include live music, yoga, Pilates, meditation, children’s workshops and beach clean-ups. So Perth’s 1 October 2026 season coverage highlights young entrepreneurs, emerging musicians, first-time businesses and a Mini Makers corner.
So Perth reports more than 70 ocean-inspired local creatives, artists and designers at each market and more than 60,000 visitors per season. Those are figures reported by So Perth, not independently audited attendance totals. The same coverage says 400 native trees were planted in the prior season through the event’s carbon-offset partnership and that the event was named Australia’s Best Small Event 2022 at the Australian Event Awards.

Getting there and planning for access
Parking and bikes
The organizer recommends South Trigg Car Park, describing it as having hundreds of bays and being about a five-minute walk from the market. Bike tracks are available on the reserve and in the car park.
Wheelchair access and facilities
The market is held on grass. The organizer lists ACROD parking bays in the adjacent car park and disabled toilets at the toilet block. It has said a path around the whole market was under consideration; a continuous accessible route around the market is therefore not confirmed. Contact the organizer for current access information before visiting if you need a specific route or facility.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads.
What should you bring?
The organizer suggests a beach towel, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Reusable bags, a water bottle, lunchbox and cutlery can also be useful. A water refill station is available, and the mug library lends mugs, plates, bowls and cutlery, so bringing or buying a reusable coffee cup is optional.

The organizer says the markets generally go ahead in rain or hot weather, but close when the Bureau of Meteorology issues a severe-weather or gale-force-winds warning. Check the organizer’s official social channels for day-of changes rather than assuming a scheduled market is proceeding.
