You do not need a Kindle device

Why the event has a changing schedule
“Stuff Your Kindle Day” is commonly used for indie ebook promotions organized by authors, often around particular genres or dates. The origin account traces the first event to December 26, 2014, organized by romance author Zoe York; that first event featured more than 60 titles from 35 authors. Those figures describe the 2014 event, not the size of the 2025 sci-fi selection.
Because organizers and event dates vary, the March 7–10, 2025 promotion should not be read as proof of a yearly March 7 schedule. The organizer’s homepage and event directory are places to look for current announcements, but no future March 7 science-fiction event is established here.
