For a Stranger Things watch party, serve waffles for the unmistakable Eleven reference, add pizza for a filling main dish, and round out the table with monster-themed snacks or dessert. You can use ordinary grocery-store food and give it fan-inspired names, or look for licensed products—but the themed packages described during the 2025 fifth-season campaign are not confirmed to be available now.
Start with the clearest reference: Eleven’s waffles
Waffles are the easiest way to make the theme legible without relying on a special product. Serve them as a breakfast-style snack, dessert, or late-night party bite. Ordinary waffles work just as well as a show reference; add toppings or arrange them on a platter to suit your table.
Netflix’s December 2025 product roundup described limited-edition strawberry Eggo waffles and Homestyle waffles in special Stranger Things packaging. That is a dated product mention, not confirmation of current stock. Netflix’s product roundup is useful for identifying the campaign-era items, but check local retailers before planning around a themed box.
Choose a filling centerpiece: Surfer Boy Pizza
Pizza is the simplest main dish for a long viewing session. Netflix’s December 2025 roundup described Palermo’s frozen pies in four campaign-themed varieties: Hawkins High cheese, Hawkins Lab combo, Palace Arcade pepperoni, and Starcourt Mall supreme. The roundup named Walmart and Albertsons as retailers at the time; it does not establish that those flavors or packages are still on sale.

If the licensed pies are unavailable, serve any pizza and label it “Surfer Boy–inspired.” That makes the reference clear without implying an ordinary pie is an official product. For a more hands-on menu, the official cookbook also lists Surfer Boy Pizza among its franchise-linked recipes.
Add a monster snack or Hellfire Club dessert
For food that feels more tailored to the series, the publisher’s listing for The Official Stranger Things Cookbook names Demigorgonzola Cheese Balls and Eddie Munson’s Hellfire Club Devil’s Food Cake, as well as Hopper’s tuna melt and Surfer Boy Pizza. These are examples of recipes in the book, not instructions reproduced here. Penguin Random House describes the cookbook as containing more than 60 recipes; it was published January 13, 2026.

For a quick homemade presentation, serve a familiar dip or dessert with a clearly fan-inspired label—“Upside Down dip,” for example. That is a party-menu idea, not an official recipe or canonical food. If you want tested, detailed recipes rather than just a theme, the cookbook is a relevant resource; check the publisher or a retailer for current availability.
Use nostalgic tie-ins as inspiration, not a shopping guarantee
Netflix reported a limited-edition Nature Valley Fudge Chip Peanut Butter Boppers rerelease on December 3, 2025. Its article describes a creamy peanut butter center, crisp rice cereal, and fudge chips, and links to Nature Valley’s recipe. Because the item was explicitly limited edition, treat it as a nostalgic reference or recipe inspiration rather than a reliably purchasable snack. Netflix’s Boppers article also mentions limited-edition Fruit by the Foot and Totino’s Hellfire Club Spicy Pepperoni Pizza Rolls as campaign-era viewing snacks; it does not confirm current availability for those products either.

WK Kellogg’s 2025 Demogorgon Crunch packaging answer key identifies a 12.1 oz cereal box and includes a puzzle whose answer for Eleven’s favorite food is waffles. This documents the tie-in packaging, not whether the cereal is currently sold.
Build a menu around effort, role, and dietary needs
| Idea | Best role | Effort | Availability or dietary note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ordinary waffles, styled for the party | Snack, breakfast-style bite, or dessert | Low | Use the package label to check ingredients and allergens. Themed Eggo packaging was described in Netflix’s December 2025 roundup; current stock is not established. |
| Surfer Boy–inspired pizza | Filling main dish | Low if bought frozen; more if homemade | Netflix’s December 2025 roundup named launch-era Palermo’s varieties and retailers, but does not establish current stock. Check the specific pizza’s ingredients for dietary needs. |
| Demigorgonzola Cheese Balls | Finger food | Recipe-dependent | Named in the official cookbook listing. Check the recipe and ingredient labels for allergens and dietary fit. |
| Hellfire Club Devil’s Food Cake | Dessert | Recipe-dependent | Named in the official cookbook listing. Check the recipe and ingredient labels for allergens and dietary fit. |
| Peanut Butter Boppers | Sweet snack | Packaged tie-in or recipe inspiration | The rerelease was described as limited edition in December 2025. Peanut butter is a key ingredient; check the full ingredient and allergen information before serving. |
| Demogorgon Crunch | Packaged cereal snack | Low | The 2025 packaging answer key identifies the product, but not its current retail availability. Check the box for ingredients and allergens. |
For guests with allergies or dietary restrictions, rely on the current package label or the recipe you actually make rather than a product name or promotional description. Keep ingredient information available at the table, especially for packaged snacks and shared dishes.

How to make the menu feel cohesive
- Pick one anchor. Choose waffles for the fastest recognizable reference or pizza if you need a filling centerpiece.
- Add one contrasting course. Pair a main dish with either a savory finger food or a themed dessert, rather than making every item a separate project.
- Use labels to carry the theme. A fan-inspired name can turn an everyday dip or dessert into a show nod; make clear that it is your own presentation, not an official product.
- Plan around confirmed availability. Treat 2025 tie-in products as campaign-era finds unless you verify current stock with a retailer.
- Check ingredients before serving. Read the current package or recipe information for each dish and make allergens easy for guests to identify.
Why the product window matters
The “return” in the original celebration framing was the 2025 fifth and final season campaign. Netflix’s December 2025 coverage said four episodes were then streaming, with later episodes and the finale scheduled for that December; that announcement is not a current release schedule. In its December 2, 2025 campaign announcement, Netflix Chief Marketing Officer Marian Lee said the company was partnering with brands on “the largest collection of products and experiences in Stranger Things history” as it celebrated the final season. Read that as a description of the campaign, not a promise that every food tie-in remains available.
