Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 episodes run 68, 75 and 66 minutes. The finale, released separately as episode 8, was listed at 2 hours 8 minutes in later reporting on a December 22, 2025 post by co-creator Ross Duffer. That differs from Netflix Tudum’s earlier 2-hour-5-minute announcement.

Episode 6 is the longest of the three. Together, episodes 5–7 run 3 hours 29 minutes.
How long is the Stranger Things finale?
Episode 8, “The Rightside Up,” was reported at 2 hours 8 minutes (128 minutes) in What’s on Netflix and TheWrap’s December 22, 2025 coverage of Duffer’s post. The figure is later than Netflix Tudum’s December 16 announcement, which gave the finale a runtime of 2 hours 5 minutes (125 minutes). GamesRadar also noted the later reported figure was three minutes longer than Netflix’s earlier announcement.

The available sources do not explain the discrepancy, so neither figure should be treated as an explanation of the other. For the later reported runtime, the final four episodes—episodes 5–8—total 5 hours 37 minutes.
Volume 2 and finale release dates
Volume 2 and the finale were separate release batches, not one four-episode Volume 2. Netflix’s schedule set each release for 5 p.m. PT, with local premiere dates differing by region:
