How did the relationship develop?
As Yeun’s acting work took him away from Chicago, the couple experienced periods of long distance. Us Weekly reports that production of The Walking Dead was based primarily in Atlanta and quotes Pak describing their travel-heavy life: “We were kind of everywhere.”
When did Steven Yeun and Joana Pak get married?
Yeun proposed in August 2015, after about six years together, according to Us Weekly. They married in Los Angeles in December 2016 at Paramour Estate. The ceremony was attended by family, friends, and several of Yeun’s The Walking Dead colleagues. TV Guide’s contemporaneous report also identifies December 2016 as their wedding month. The sources cited here do not establish a precise wedding day.

They have two children. Their son Jude was born on March 17, 2017, a date reported by both Us Weekly and TV Guide. Us Weekly reports that they welcomed a daughter in April 2019; its account did not publicly identify her by name.
