Yes—Steven Tyler performed at two separate Janie’s Fund benefits in 2025. He returned to the stage at Jam for Janie in Hollywood on February 2, then reunited with Aerosmith bandmate Joe Perry for a private San Francisco benefit on April 30. The events had different lineups and setlists; available reports link to fan-recorded clips rather than an established official video release.
Which Steven Tyler benefit performance are you looking for?
The headline can refer to either of two events. The February appearance was Tyler’s return to the stage at Jam for Janie in Hollywood. The April event was the first time he and Joe Perry had performed together in nearly two years.

What happened at Jam for Janie in Hollywood?
At the February 2 event at the Hollywood Palladium, Tyler performed six songs during the sixth annual Jam for Janie Grammy watch party. The event supported young women affected by abuse and neglect, as well as Los Angeles fire relief causes. Guests included Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton, Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood, Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson, Lainey Wilson and Jessie J. HOT METAL’s report and CFJC Today’s coverage describe the appearance.
What did Tyler and Joe Perry play in San Francisco?
At the April 30 private benefit, Tyler and Perry performed five Aerosmith songs together: “Toys in the Attic,” “Same Old Song and Dance,” “Sweet Emotion,” “Dream On” and “Walk This Way.” An all-singer encore added “Train Kept a Rollin’” and the Beatles’ “Come Together.” The reported Tyler-and-Perry set and the encore are distinct parts of the evening. BLABBERMOUTH.NET and American Songwriter link to clips from the performance.

No. Aerosmith announced in August 2024 that it was retiring from touring because Tyler’s vocal injury had not fully recovered. The February and April appearances were one-off benefit performances; they did not reverse the touring announcement. CFJC Today covered the February return in that context.
