Can you still enter the STARZ PLAY by Cinepax competition?
No. The competition was announced in 2019, and Biz Today reported on July 16, 2019 that its final event was scheduled for July 27, 2019. The announcement is therefore historical; it is not a current submission opportunity.
A CB Insights listing identifies the original TechJuice story as a March 28, 2019 item. Its headline invited videographers to participate, but that wording does not mean registration remains available.
What did the winner receive?
The reported prize was an exclusive contract to produce a STARZ PLAY by Cinepax original web series. Biz Today attributed that description to Arif Baig Muhammed, then identified as chairman of STARZ PLAY by Cinepax. The coverage describes a production contract, not a cash award.

How were finalists judged?
Shortlisted films were to be screened at the final event, where a jury selected the winner. Business Recorder’s July 26, 2019 report says the jury judged the top 10 finalists.
Business Recorder listed the jury as director Syed Noor; actor and director Omair Rana; director of photography Hamza Yousaf; Qazi Akhiyar, Head of the Department of Theatre, Film & TV at BNU; and media representatives Saira Agha, Faizan Javed, Sheharyar Rizwan, and Momina Ali Munshi. Names and roles are given as that report rendered them.

How many films were submitted?
Biz Today reported more than 3,000 submissions worldwide, including over 200 from within Pakistan. These are figures attributed to the competition organizers in 2019 coverage, not independently audited totals.
