What is Star Wars: Eclipse?
Lucasfilm Games and Quantic Dream announced Star Wars: Eclipse on December 10, 2021. Set during the High Republic era in an uncharted region of the Outer Rim, it is described as a branching narrative action-adventure with multiple playable characters and choices that affect events. Lucasfilm’s announcement outlines the premise, while Quantic Dream’s official game page describes the project as early in development.

These are examples of other projects with official announcements, not a definitive list of the “three more” games implied by some headlines. Official pages provide different levels of detail and do not all establish present-day development status.

Skydance New Media’s untitled adventure
On April 19, 2022, StarWars.com reported that Skydance New Media and Lucasfilm Games were collaborating on an original narrative-driven action-adventure. The announcement names Amy Hennig as the leader of Skydance New Media but does not name the game or specify release timing or platforms. Read the announcement.
Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic
Lucasfilm’s interview identifies Fate of the Old Republic as a narrative-driven action RPG being developed by a new studio launched by Casey Hudson. It says the game is in early development; it does not provide a release date or platform details. Read the official interview.

Knights of the Old Republic remake
The official remake page includes the announcement that the game is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC. That information records what was announced; the page does not confirm the project’s current status.
How to read older Star Wars game announcements
Respawn’s three-project announcement
In January 2022, Lucasfilm Games and EA announced three projects with Respawn: a Jedi sequel, a strategy game, and a first-person shooter. The announcement is historical evidence of what was revealed at that time, not confirmation that all three remain in development in 2026.

Announcement is not the same as a current status report
For current status, look for a dated statement from the developer or publisher that explicitly addresses the project’s progress. An old announcement can establish a game’s premise, collaborators, or originally named platforms, but it cannot by itself establish that production continues or that release plans remain unchanged.

The official sources cited here give no release timing for Eclipse, the Skydance project, or Fate of the Old Republic. The KOTOR remake page carries the earlier PS5 and PC announcement but no current status update. None of these sources supports a confirmed release window for those projects.
