On March 4, 2025, four reservation-required panels were announced for Star Wars Celebration Japan: The Mandalorian and Grogu, Andor, Ahsoka, and Star Wars: Visions Season 3. The event ran April 18–20, 2025; its later official schedule clarified what each session would cover and listed far more programming than these four panels.
What were the four announced panels?
The March 4 announcement named four panel subjects: The Mandalorian and Grogu, Andor, Ahsoka, and Star Wars: Visions Season 3. These were the panels identified as requiring reservations, not the complete Celebration Japan program. Germain Lussier’s March 4, 2025 report noted that the full schedule had not yet been revealed.
When did each panel take place?
The later official schedule placed the four sessions across all three days of Celebration Japan, held April 18–20, 2025:
| Date | Panel | Official schedule description |
|---|---|---|
| Friday, April 18, 2025 | The Mandalorian and Grogu | The schedule listed the panel; the supplied official description does not state further details. |
| Saturday, April 19, 2025 | Andor | A sneak peek at the final season. |
| Saturday, April 19, 2025 | Ahsoka | A look back at season one. |
| Sunday, April 20, 2025 | First Look: Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 | A first look at Volume 3 shorts. |
The dates and descriptions come from the official StarWars.com schedule, published March 14, 2025.

What did the announcement confirm—and what did it not?
The early report discussed possible reveals, including trailers, episode screenings, or release information. Those were possibilities, not confirmed outcomes. The subsequent official schedule offers the firmer account: Andor was billed as a final-season sneak peek, Ahsoka as a season-one retrospective, and Visions as a first look at Volume 3 shorts. In particular, the official description did not announce season-two news for Ahsoka.
The four panels were only a small, reservation-required part of the convention. StarWars.com’s schedule covered the three main stages and included a broader lineup of panels, screenings, and other events.

Is Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 still upcoming?
No. Celebration Japan took place April 18–20, 2025. The official Star Wars Celebration site, accessed October 8, 2026, advertises the next event in Los Angeles for April 1–4, 2027, with panel details to come closer to the event. The 2025 panel announcement is therefore historical, not news about an upcoming 2026 or 2027 schedule.
