When was Season 3 announced?
Season 3 production was announced at the SPY×FAMILY ANIME EXTRA MISSION event in Tokyo on June 9, 2024. ORICON reported that the announcement came with a teaser visual; contemporaneous coverage from Crunchyroll and ORICON did not give a premiere date. That date arrived later in the official schedule.

What did the first teaser visual show?
The official gallery identifies the announcement-era artwork as the “Season 3 Super Teaser Visual.” It is distinct from the Season 3 key visual, character visuals and other promotional illustrations displayed later in the gallery. The initial artwork was released alongside the production announcement, rather than being one of those later images.

When did Season 3 begin airing?
The official Japanese listing gives the broadcast start as Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 23:00 on TV Tokyo and affiliated stations. It also lists staggered start dates for other Japanese stations and streaming platforms, and warns that schedules may change. These are Japanese listings, not confirmation of release timing or availability in every territory.

What is SPY×FAMILY about?
The series follows Twilight, a Westalis spy assigned to approach political target Donovan Desmond through his son’s school. To create a cover, Twilight adopts Anya and forms a family with Yor. Their home life rests on secrets: Anya can read minds, Yor is an assassin, and each conceals their real identity from the others.
Where can you watch or buy Season 3?
The official Japanese page lists streaming services including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ and Hulu, as well as other platforms. Those listings do not establish that Season 3 is available on each service in every country. Check the service in your location for current rights, release timing, subscription or rental access, and language and subtitle options.

The official anime site says the manga had surpassed 42 million copies in cumulative circulation as of April 2026. It also reports more than ¥6.32 billion in Japanese box-office revenue for SPY×FAMILY CODE: White, released in December 2023. These are franchise figures, not Season 3 viewership or performance data.
