How did Mel C and Dingwall meet?
PerthNow reported that the pair matched on Raya and arranged dinner while Mel C was in Australia on a DJ tour in November 2023. ITV News Border later quoted her saying she was 49 when she met Dingwall and that they had a date in Australia: “I was 49 when I met Chris and I was in a really good place. We had a date in Australia, and it’s been difficult to separate us ever since.”

Mel C described wanting a partner who could be supportive without compromising her independence. As PerthNow recounted it, she wanted someone separate from her rather than someone intruding or constantly “under my feet.”
Are Mel C and Chris Dingwall still together?
Yes. ITV News Border reported on 20 July 2026 that Mel C and Dingwall had married in Castle Carrock, following a legal ceremony in Sydney. The report places their celebration in Cumbria. This is the latest relationship status established by the cited coverage.
