Solo Leveling Season 3 has no confirmed release date in the reporting covered here. Producer Atsushi Kaneko has spoken about working on the franchise’s future, but those remarks do not confirm a third TV season. The confirmed next project is Solo Leveling: Beyond the System, a theatrical movie announced in July 2026 that continues after Season 2.
Is Solo Leveling Season 3 confirmed?
No. The available reports do not establish a formal Season 3 announcement or release date. In July 2025, animation producer Atsushi Kaneko said, “If season three happens, that’s when I want to truly break that boundary.” The conditional wording describes what he would want to do if a third season is made; it is not confirmation that one has been ordered. ComicBook.com’s report covered the remark in an interview about the anime’s future.
In May 2026, Kaneko spoke about plans for the franchise at Mumbai Comic Con. ComicBook.com reported his remarks through a translator: “He does have a lot of plans for the future, but he is not able to say so much…right now, all he can say is working very hard for it.” The report said he made no concrete announcement at that time. These comments suggest ongoing work, but do not identify a Season 3 order or schedule. Read the report.
What is the confirmed next Solo Leveling project?
On July 3, 2026, Crunchyroll announced Solo Leveling: Beyond the System as a theatrical movie. Its announcement says the film continues “from where Solo Leveling Season 2 left off,” and confirms that A-1 Pictures is returning. Crunchyroll’s announcement is the clearest official update on what comes next.

Does “Come to an End, for Now” mean the anime is over?
That wording appears in a video headline, but the reporting reviewed here does not verify it as a direct quote from Kaneko or establish its original context. It should not be treated as an official statement that the anime is ending. The verifiable remarks are conditional or broadly about future plans, while the movie announcement confirms a theatrical continuation after Season 2.

For the next screen story, the announced movie is the confirmed continuation to follow; the available announcement does not provide its release date. Fans who want to explore the source story can look to the Korean web novel and WEBTOON on which the anime is based. Sony Music Group’s interview identifies Chugong as the original-story creator, DUBU as the WEBTOON illustrator, and h-goon as the screenplay writer. The Cocotame interview also describes the anime’s co-production by Aniplex and Crunchyroll, with animation by A-1 Pictures.
The same interview says Season 1 began airing in January 2024 and Season 2 was scheduled to conclude on March 29, 2025. Those dates provide context for the existing seasons, not a basis for predicting when a third season might arrive.
