Slipknot’s 2024 “Here Comes the Pain” North American tour was announced as a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the band’s 1999 self-titled debut. The announced headline dates ran from August 6 in Noblesville, Indiana, to September 21 in Des Moines, Iowa, alongside several festival appearances. This is the historical schedule announced in April 2024; the advertised ticket-sale date has passed.
What the 2024 tour announcement covered
Knotfest announced the “Here Comes the Pain” run on April 30, 2024, framing it around the silver anniversary of Slipknot’s self-titled 1999 debut. The announcement described an arena tour and highlighted shows at Madison Square Garden, Scotiabank Arena, and the then newly named Intuit Dome. It also included festival appearances in North America.
Slipknot guitarist Jim Root said, “We loved what we did with that first record but we didn’t even know if there was going to be anything after that. We just wanted people to hear it.” Founding member Shawn “clown” Crahan said, “Every time I have walked on stage, it’s never been about how many people are there, because my culture, always shows up.” Both statements were attributed by Knotfest’s April 30 announcement.

How the support acts were assigned
Knocked Loose was named as a special guest across the announced North American headline run. The first leg paired them with Orbit Culture; the later leg paired them with Vended. Knotfest’s May 1 tour-trailer page also presents the dates and support pairings by leg. The festival entries above are not assigned a support pairing in the listed schedule.
Ticket timing in the original announcement
Knotfest said a presale would precede general ticket sales, which were scheduled for May 3, 2024, at 10 a.m. local time. That was the advertised on-sale timing at announcement, not current ticket guidance. The announcement does not establish whether tickets or resale listings remain available now.
