Skeet Ulrich plays Henry Emily in Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. Matthew Lillard returns as William Afton. Both actors played killers in the 1996 film Scream, and Peacock’s official cast guide makes that link directly: Ulrich was Billy Loomis and Lillard was Stu Macher. The sequel puts the two back on screen together, though in a horror franchise built on Scott Cawthon’s games rather than the slasher series.
Who Skeet Ulrich plays
Ulrich’s character, Henry Emily, is new to the Five Nights at Freddy’s film series. Peacock describes Henry as William Afton’s business partner in the Fazbear franchise idea, which places him close to the origins of the restaurant chain at the center of the story. The Peacock cast and characters guide is the official source for this role and for the 1996 Scream link.
Some coverage describes Ulrich as 55. The official cast materials do not state his age, so this article does not rely on that figure.
The Scream reunion
Ulrich and Lillard were both in the original Scream, playing the two killers in the film’s mystery. In Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 they are cast as Henry Emily and William Afton, two characters with a business and family history tied to the Fazbear name.

At San Diego Comic-Con, Ulrich said he plays “somebody with a very particular and specific past, and somebody who has a deep emotional tie to what’s going on.” He then added that he was “not really allowed to say,” according to GamesRadar’s report of the panel. That is secondhand reporting of his remarks. The Peacock guide is the source that confirms the character name.
The story so far and what the sequel covers
The film is set one year after the supernatural events at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Mike’s sister, Abby, sneaks out to look for her animatronic friends, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy. New events begin to reveal secrets about Freddy’s origins. Universal’s synopsis describes Mike as a former security guard, which places Abby’s search directly after the first film.

He is deeply involved in every part of Five Nights at Freddy’s—the strategy, the business and the creative decisions.”

Tammi reflected on the first film’s release, which came out during the SAG-AFTRA strike: “We did not have a premiere or a shared moment to celebrate.” She said that seeing fans respond in theaters is when she first realized “we might get to make another one.” Both quotes come from NBCUniversal’s sequel overview.
How the film relates to the games
The film draws on Cawthon’s game world, but Peacock says it is not necessarily based on a single game. It should not be read as a straight adaptation of the second game. Readers looking for a scene-by-scene version of a specific title will not find one in the film’s official materials. The Peacock streaming page is the source for this description.
