Skai Jackson’s pregnancy announcement was reported on November 12, 2024: the actor, known for playing Zuri Ross on Disney Channel’s Jessie, was expecting her first child. A Los Angeles Times report published January 27, 2025, later said she had welcomed the child, making the announcement part of a past news timeline rather than current pregnancy news.
What Skai Jackson announced
On November 12, 2024, the Los Angeles Times reported that Jackson was expecting her first child. The newspaper said a representative confirmed the news, which Jackson had first shared with People. Jackson was 22 at the time, according to the Times.

My heart is so full!” The statement linked her personal news with plans for future acting work; it was not an interview with the Los Angeles Times.
