Rebecca Ferguson plays Juliette Nichols, the engineer at the center of Apple TV’s Silo. Apple’s season-three credits name the rest of the principal cast, and the table below pairs each performer with the character Apple credits them for. Several performers from earlier seasons and new additions appear in Apple’s cast listings without character names, so they are covered in their own section rather than assigned roles.

Apple’s full cast-and-crew page groups performers by season but does not show which character each actor plays. For character pairings, the season-three credits above are the reliable reference.
The characters at the center of season three
Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson)
Apple describes Silo as a science-fiction drama set in a ruined, toxic future, where people live in a vast underground silo. Juliette is an engineer who investigates secrets after residents die mysteriously. Apple’s season-three release, dated June 16, 2026, summarizes her position at the start of the new season in these words: “In the present, Juliette Nichols (Ferguson) survives her forced ‘cleaning’ but returns with memory loss as the silo recovers from rebellion and faces a dangerous new threat.”

Daniel and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman)
Apple’s credits list Ashley Zukerman’s role as Daniel. Apple’s season-three synopsis identifies the character in the Before Times as Congressman Daniel Keene, who uncovers a conspiracy with journalist Helen Drew. The official text does not state whether this character is the same person as the Daniel in the present-day credits, so that connection should be treated as unconfirmed.
Helen and journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick)
Apple’s credits list Jessica Henwick’s role as Helen. Its synopsis gives the Before Times character as journalist Helen Drew. As with Daniel, the shorter credit name and the fuller synopsis name are not explained further in the official text.

Robert Sims and Camille Sims (Common and Alexandria Riley)
Common plays Robert Sims and Alexandria Riley plays Camille Sims. The two characters share a surname, but Apple’s season-three materials do not say how they are related.
Tim Robbins (Bernard Holland), Harriet Walter (Martha Walker), Chinaza Uche (Paul Billings), Avi Nash (Lukas), Shane McRae (Knox) and Remmie Milner (Shirley) complete the credited season-three cast. Apple’s season-three materials give no further character description for them.

Apple’s series synopsis describes a society of 10,000 people living underground. That number is a detail of the story’s setting, not a measured population. Season three also reveals an origin story set centuries earlier than the present-day silo storyline, and it continues the story of the underground community.

Season-three schedule and renewal
Apple’s June 16, 2026 release gives these dates and details:
- Season three has ten episodes.
- It premiered globally on July 3, 2026.
- Episodes were released weekly through September 4, 2026.
- Apple has renewed the series for a fourth and final season.
As of October 2026, the season-three run has concluded.
Source novels
Apple says the series is based on Hugh Howey’s bestselling trilogy, which its season-two announcement names as the Wool trilogy. The first book is Wool by Hugh Howey, the natural starting point for readers who want the source material. Apple’s official pages do not specify how closely each season follows the books.
