The inaugural Shine Brighter Ball was held at Optus Stadium in Burswood on 6 December 2025 to honour Perth brothers Callum and Jake Robinson and support the foundation established in their name. The West Australian reported that 550 people attended and almost A$70,000 was raised.
What happened at the Shine Brighter Ball?
The Callum and Jake Robinson Foundation’s event listing described an evening of formal dress, dinner, live entertainment and visual tributes at Optus Stadium. The ball was a memorial and fundraising event, not an upcoming date.
In its 10 December 2025 coverage, The West Australian reported that 550 people gathered and that the event raised almost A$70,000 for the foundation. Those are the newspaper’s reported figures; the article does not establish them as independently audited totals.
What did the family say?
At the ball, the brothers’ parents, Martin and Debra Robinson, said: “Their lives were far too full of possibility to ever be defined by how they were taken from us.”

They also described the foundation as a way for friends, families, teammates and communities to carry forward the brothers’ spirit and the values that shaped them. The foundation’s stated mission, quoted by the newspaper, is: “Live Bigger. Shine Brighter. Love Harder.”
What is the Callum and Jake Robinson Foundation?
The foundation says it was formed after Callum and Jake and their friend Carter Rhoad were killed in Mexico in 2024. Its public mission focuses on community, access to sport and adventure, and encouraging people to live with courage, joy and generosity. Its listed work includes helping young people access lacrosse, diabetes advocacy and coastal cleanups.

The West Australian’s account connected that work to several tributes and initiatives: a Rusty shirt created in the brothers’ memory, a Jake Robinson Medical Scholarship, a school award and surfing competition, assistance dogs, and donated lacrosse goals. The newspaper reported that profits from the tribute shirt went to foundation programs; the available sources do not establish whether the shirt is still on sale.
Event details and historical costs
The foundation’s official event listing set individual tickets at A$275 and a table of ten at A$2,750. These were prices for the December 2025 ball and are not current ticket offers.

The foundation’s 2025 sponsorship proposal listed a Shine Brighter Gold sponsorship at A$10,000 plus GST and a Love Harder Silver Supporter package at A$5,000 plus GST. These were proposals for the past event, not current sponsorship terms. The ball materials also invited auction-prize donations.
