Rotten Tomatoes’ critics consensus calls the film “a painfully generic action film weighed down by a lackluster script, predictable twists, and a sentimental undertone that fails to resonate.” Rotten Tomatoes critics consensus
The ratings suggest different expectations: critics were largely negative, while the verified audience score was substantially higher at the time reported. Viewers deciding whether to rent or buy may want to weigh that split alongside their interest in an R-rated action story about a family on the run.
