Serenity Gully, a glamping retreat near Bridgetown in Western Australia’s Southern Forests, was named Australia’s best glamping destination at the 2025 World Luxury Travel Awards, according to reports by PerthNow and Modern Campground. The recognition is a reported award win, not an independently measured ranking of every Australian glamping property.
What the 2025 award recognises
PerthNow reported the win on 19 November 2025, describing Serenity Gully as recognised as Australia’s best glamping destination at the 2025 World Luxury Travel Awards. Modern Campground reported it a week earlier, on 12 November, as “Best Glamping Destination in Australia” at the 5th Annual World Luxury Travel Awards. The reports differ slightly in phrasing; neither source reviewed here includes a primary award-results page.
Modern Campground says the awards use a global voting process involving travel professionals and international travellers. That description comes from secondary coverage, so it should not be treated as independently confirmed judging methodology. The award reports do not establish that Serenity Gully has been measured against every Australian glamping stay.
What a stay at Serenity Gully is like
PerthNow describes three luxury eco-tents spread across 478 private acres, with hundreds of metres between tents. Reported features include off-grid operation using solar power and rainwater harvesting, outdoor stone baths with Jarrah forest views, fireplaces and opportunities to encounter wildlife.

In November 2025, reports said owners Susan and Franco Randazzo were developing or preparing two steel-and-glass chalets. Modern Campground named them The Djarraly and The Wandju and also mentioned a planned boutique event space, The Dandjoo. Those reports do not establish whether the projects have since opened or are currently available to book.

What the owners said
PerthNow quoted co-founder Susan Randazzo saying: “We’re absolutely thrilled and humbled to receive this incredible recognition.” She described the retreat’s vision as combining five-star comfort with environmental responsibility and immersion in nature.
Co-founder Franco Randazzo told PerthNow the award came as the owners prepared to unveil their new chalets. The November 2025 coverage describes them as forthcoming, not as confirmed open accommodations.
