That notice was about King’s Cross, not a cancellation of the wider Back to Hogwarts celebration. Nor does it prove the station event is permanently prohibited: the official material establishes no station countdown or announcement in 2024 and 2025, but not what will happen in every future year.

The 2025 program included an online showcase, a separate 11 a.m. countdown at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London for a limited group, and merchandise at the Platform 9¾ shop. The Studio Tour activity was not the King’s Cross gathering; eligibility and details applied to that year’s program. - Using the key that was included in the wand tray, insert key into the bottom of the wand and rotate counter-clockwise to remove battery cap
- Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) with the '+' sides facing into the wand and the '+' sides facing the battery cap for both batteries. Both batteries are facing the same direction.
- Once the batteries are properly installed, replace the battery cap by rotating the cap in a clockwise direction by hand. You will need to use the key to tighten the cap until snug. Be careful not to overtighten or strip the key slot
