The season features an allegation that her former husband, Jeff Lazkani, was seen kissing another woman; the reporting cited here does not independently verify that claim. Nor does the available evidence show that Chelsea’s ego caused the marriage to end or establish that her ex deserves all the blame.
What Season 8 shows—and what it does not establish
Netflix released all 11 episodes of Season 8 on September 6, 2024, with Chelsea among the returning agents. The season’s marriage storyline centers on a claim that agent Amanda Lynn reportedly shared with Bre Tiesi, who then told Chelsea that Jeff had allegedly been seen making out with another woman. That is an allegation relayed through the show’s cast, not a verified account of what happened. Netflix Tudum’s Season 8 guide provides the release and cast context; Bustle and Vanity Fair describe the storyline.

Vanity Fair reports that Bre disclosed the claim to Chelsea on camera and characterizes the season’s resolution about the marriage as limited. It also says Chelsea questioned the motives and circumstances around how the disclosure scene came together. A reality-TV scene can show what participants said and how the moment was presented; it is not a complete record of a private relationship, nor independent confirmation of the allegation.
Did Chelsea’s ego cause the marriage to end?
The available evidence does not support that conclusion. It does not establish that Chelsea’s ego caused the breakup, and the cited coverage does not provide a full account of the couple’s private history. Chelsea’s reactions in an edited season may invite viewers to interpret her personality, but they cannot prove what caused a marriage to fail.

In a September 6, 2024 interview with Bustle, Chelsea said she did not want to relive a traumatic moment and described initially hoping to build or rekindle relationships. Those comments offer her perspective on the season and its emotional context; they do not settle the cause of the separation.
Does her ex deserve all the blame?
That is not established either. Vanity Fair reported that Chelsea filed for divorce in March 2024, attributing the filing details to People. That report predates the season’s September premiere, but the sources cited here do not include a primary court record, a complete legal timeline, or Jeff’s account of the relationship. The alleged kiss cannot be treated as verified proof of infidelity, and the filing alone does not establish who was responsible for the marriage ending.

In an October 8, 2024 interview on Not Skinny But Not Fat, Chelsea said reality television can add strain but would not make or break a relationship. She put her position plainly: “So, no, I would never ever blame reality TV for the failure of my marriage whatsoever.” She also said she could not discuss some details because she wanted to respect the other party. These are Chelsea’s stated views, not independent evidence assigning responsibility. The interview transcript records those remarks.
