Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement on August 26, 2025, with a joint Instagram carousel containing five photographs. See the original carousel on Instagram; the published descriptions below identify only some of its frames.
Where to see all five engagement photos
The complete set is in the couple’s joint Instagram post. The announcement caption read: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” The Associated Press confirmed the post contained five photographs, but dependable published descriptions are not available for every individual frame. For the full visual record, the original carousel is the primary source.
What the proposal pictures show
Reuters described a pink-and-white flower garden as the setting. It reported that one image shows Kelce on one knee looking up at Swift, while another features the ring on her left hand. CBS also described the setting as a garden photo shoot with pink and white roses. Reuters noted that a snippet of Swift’s song “So High School” accompanied the post.
Those descriptions cover reported details, not a verified caption for each of the five images. The photographs are best viewed in the original carousel rather than treated as a fully documented frame-by-frame gallery.

What is known about Swift’s engagement ring
Swift’s publicist, Tree Paine, told the Associated Press that the diamond is an old mine brilliant cut designed by Kindred Lubeck. AP described the stone as set in yellow gold with a bezel setting. The designer and cut are details attributed to Paine; the setting description is AP’s reporting.
Garden, clothing and styling details
Beyond the pink and white roses described by CBS, Ideal Home offered its own gardening-focused interpretation of the floral display, including comments from Darren Beard, a gardening buyer at Cherry Lane Garden Centres. Those further flower identifications are the publication’s reading of the images, not details confirmed by Swift, Kelce or a florist.

AP reported that Swift wore a striped Ralph Lauren dress and a Cartier watch. These are reported styling details; they do not establish that either brand sponsored the announcement.
When and where the proposal happened
AP’s initial report said the timing and location of the engagement were unclear. Reuters later attributed an account to Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, that the proposal took place in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, almost two weeks before the August 26 announcement. That timing and location should be understood as his reported account, not as independently verified details from the photographs.

Reuters reported on August 26, 2025, that the engagement announcement did not include a wedding date. That describes what accompanied the announcement at the time; it does not establish whether plans were shared later.
