How the matches were legally shown in the UK
The Scottish FA announced that BBC held the free-to-air UK rights for Scotland men’s matches on the road to the 2026 World Cup. The original online option was BBC iPlayer, with television coverage varying by fixture and schedule. BBC Sport and BBC Radio Scotland/BBC Sounds also provided digital or audio coverage around the games.
“Free-to-air” does not mean universally free worldwide. BBC iPlayer access is generally UK-focused and viewers must comply with applicable UK TV-licence rules when watching live television or BBC iPlayer content. A 2025 live broadcast should not be confused with a currently available replay: full-match availability can expire.

United States: FOX Sports, Fubo and ViX
UEFA’s broadcaster directory listed FOX Sports, Fubo TV and ViX among the US partners for European Qualifiers. That list identifies rights partners; it does not guarantee that every service carried this specific match, that a replay remains online, or that the stream was free.
- FOX Sports access may require a participating pay-TV provider or eligible streaming package.
- Fubo is a subscription live-TV service; current plans and availability should be checked directly.
- ViX may offer selected coverage and language options, but the specific match and access tier must be confirmed with ViX.
There is no verified basis for promising a free, standalone US stream of either Scotland–Greece match.
Greece and other territories
UEFA listed Alpha TV and Nova Greece as Greek rights partners. Availability depended on their schedules, online distribution and territory restrictions. In Canada, UEFA listed DAZN Canada. Elsewhere, use UEFA’s country-by-country broadcaster directory rather than an unofficial streaming site.

Greece 3–2 Scotland — 15 November 2025
Greece won the return fixture 3–2. Scotland nevertheless finished the campaign as Group C winners after beating Denmark 4–2 on 18 November 2025 and qualified directly for the 2026 World Cup. Replays, highlights and safe viewing
Official highlights or clips may remain available through UEFA, FIFA, BBC or the national-team channels, but availability varies by date and country. Do not assume that BBC iPlayer still carries a complete match in August 2026 unless its current programme page confirms it.
Avoid websites advertising unauthorized “free streams,” mirror links or social-media rebroadcasts. They may show the wrong event and can expose viewers to fake play buttons, phishing, malware and intrusive pop-ups. Use an official broadcaster, governing-body match page or verified national-team channel instead.
