Scorpion TV is leading its MIPCOM slate with Your Attention Please, a documentary about social media’s effects on young people, families and society—and efforts to reclaim attention and connection. The film is being offered to broadcasters in feature and shorter versions; the announcement does not establish a consumer release date or streaming service.
What is Your Attention Please about?
The documentary examines how platforms designed to capture attention affect childhood, relationships and mental wellbeing. It follows families and campaigners, alongside whistleblowers and thinkers, through the consequences of social media use and questions about how people might respond.
One central story is Kristin Bride’s campaign for stronger online protections for children after her son, Carson, died following online harassment. Her story provides an emotional thread through the film, according to Prensario’s 6 October 2026 report.
The film also explores responses including ReThink, an initiative using technology to combat cyberbullying, and Amsterdam’s Offline Club, which encourages people to put down their phones and connect in person. Their appearance in the documentary reflects the film’s approach; it is not independent evidence of their effectiveness.

Why is the title leading the MIPCOM slate?
The film connects the debate over social media’s effects with people attempting to address those effects, rather than focusing only on the harms. Scorpion TV Managing Director David Cornwall told Prensario on 6 October 2026: “The debate has moved beyond whether social media is affecting our lives to what we are actually going to do about it. What I particularly like about the film is that it doesn’t simply diagnose the problem – it follows people who are trying to change things”.
Cornwall also said the documentary “couldn’t be arriving at a more relevant moment”.
