How did the couple meet?
Hale and Massagli first met as children while working on School of Rock, where Hale played Marta and Massagli played Frankie. Reports say they reconnected as adults in Florida. The Independent places that reconnection in 2018; Global News recounts Massagli’s description of meeting for lunch and later sharing dinner and drinks. Published accounts do not establish a single, settled year when their romantic relationship began.
