The figures below are media estimates, not verified payroll amounts. Yash Raj Films (YRF), the actors and Suri have not publicly confirmed the fee figures in the cited coverage.

Why the reported actor figures do not match
The ₹15–20 lakh figure is a specific claim about the two actors’ Saiyaara fees, attributed by India Today to unnamed sources. The ₹3–5 crore figure is a broad estimate of what major banners may pay debuting talent; Financial Express explicitly said YRF had not confirmed the actors’ fees. These numbers describe different kinds of claims and should not be combined into a single range or treated as competing verified contract disclosures.
The Times of India also characterized the fee figures it discussed as speculative, not official. The most defensible answer is therefore that the exact amounts remain undisclosed; the published figures show what outlets estimated, not what can be established as fact.
What is known about the film and its later reunion
YRF lists Saiyaara as a love story set in Mumbai, directed by Mohit Suri, with Aneet Padda as writer Vaani Batra and Ahaan Panday as musician Krish Kapoor. The studio gives the film’s release date as July 18, 2025. Yash Raj Films’ film page
In an August 2025 report, India Today said discussions for the leads’ next film involved a proposed ₹35–50 lakh range. That, too, was attributed to unnamed sources and concerns reported negotiations—not confirmed pay for Saiyaara. YRF’s reunion announcement reported Saiyaara box-office totals of ₹338 crore net in India and about ₹580 crore gross worldwide. Those are the studio’s published figures and offer context for the film’s performance, but they do not confirm what any cast member was paid. Yash Raj Films
