Sabrina Carpenter’s “Tears” video stars Colman Domingo and was released in late August 2025 alongside her album Man’s Best Friend. Carpenter’s official video page lists August 28, while Universal Music Canada’s announcement is dated August 29; neither source explains the one-day difference.
What happens in the “Tears” video?
The video places Carpenter and Domingo in an unusual, stylized house setting. ABC Rage describes it as a “hauntingly hot and steamy house of oddities” and characterizes Domingo’s look as Frank-N-Furter-esque. That is the outlet’s description; the available release materials do not confirm a specific creative intention behind the styling.
