He posted a photo of himself watching the Deadpool trailer on television and joked in the reported Instagram caption: “Has everyone seen the #Deadpool trailer? Also, has anyone seen my wife?”
Why Ryan Reynolds asked, “Has anyone seen my wife?”
The question was a playful tease about Lively being at the stadium while Reynolds watched from home—not a real missing-person search. The post paired a reference to the Deadpool trailer with the widely visible fact that Lively was at the Super Bowl with Swift. E! News reported the post and game context on February 12, 2024, as did The Independent.
How the joke continued
Reynolds later shared a photo from the game with the caption “Found my wife.” Lively answered with her own playful post: “Honey I’m home. My day was good. Yours?” USA TODAY, published via Yahoo Entertainment on February 13, 2024, reported the exchange.
The Super Bowl and Deadpool connection
Reynolds’s original post referenced the Deadpool trailer playing on his television during the game. It was a personal social media joke tied to the trailer’s Super Bowl moment; the cited coverage does not describe the post itself as a product advertisement.
