- Rod Stewart wrote the book on lead singers as rock stars go in the late '60s and early '70s fronting The Jeff Beck Group, Faces, and currently as a solo artist. His rooster-shag hairdo, sandpaper vocals, mike-stand-twirling onstage swagger, and offstage ribaldry - not to mention his gift for songwriting from ballsy rockers to hilarious story-songs to sensitive-guy ballads - are the stuff that this rock legend is made of. Rod's string of hit singles and multi-platinum albums remains unbroken to this day. The Voice: The Very Best Of Rod Stewart spins 16 Rod the Mod classics from his Warner Bros. albums and cross-licensed to include "Maggie May" and "You Wear It Well" from his Mercur
| City | Original date | Rescheduled date |
|---|---|---|
| Rancho Mirage, California | June 12, 2025 | September 20, 2025 |
| Paso Robles, California | June 15, 2025 | September 21, 2025 |
The two rescheduled shows are separate from the four canceled performances; the report does not list additional replacement dates for the canceled shows.
What did Stewart say about the changes?
As quoted by RTTNews from Stewart’s Instagram post, he wrote: “I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu.” He also apologized to fans, saying, “I’m devastated and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to my fans. I’ll be back on stage and will see you soon.”

What about the earlier Las Vegas postponements?
Two Caesars Palace shows, scheduled for June 1 and June 5, 2025, had already been postponed because of an unspecified illness, RTTNews reported. The report did not attribute those earlier postponements to flu.
What ticket holders should know
The report does not specify whether refunds were available or what happened to tickets for either canceled or rescheduled shows. Ticket holders need to check the original venue, promoter, or ticket seller’s archived notice for the terms that applied to their event.

How this differs from Stewart’s later tour cancellations
In August 2026, later coverage reported cancellations following a coronary stent procedure and doctors’ recovery advice. That was a separate event and a different stated reason; it does not change the explanation Stewart gave for the June 2025 dates. See BBC’s August 2026 report and The Guardian’s August 2026 coverage.
