Robert Plant and Alison Krauss announced their first joint tour in twelve years in November 2021, with June 2022 U.S. concerts and European summer appearances planned around their album Raise The Roof. They later extended the U.S. itinerary; the final date listed in the June 2022 update was September 12 at New York’s Beacon Theatre.
Why Plant and Krauss toured together again
The November 19, 2021 announcement framed the tour as a return to the stage together after twelve years. It accompanied Raise The Roof, their follow-up to the 2007 album Raising Sand. The titles are easy to confuse: Raise The Roof is the album behind this tour, while Raising Sand is its predecessor. Shore Fire Media’s original announcement set out the first dates.

The album’s twelve tracks, as listed in the 313 Presents announcement, are “Quattro (World Drifts In),” “The Price of Love,” “Go Your Way,” “Trouble With My Lover,” “Searching for My Love,” “Can’t Let Go,” “It Don’t Bother Me,” “You Led Me to The Wrong,” “Last Kind Words Blues,” “High and Lonesome,” “Going Where the Lonely Go,” and “Somebody Was Watching Over Me.”
How the 2022 itinerary changed
The first announcement covered U.S. dates in June and European stops in late June and July. On June 21, 2022, the artists announced an expanded itinerary that added a second U.S. leg in August and September. The consolidated dates below distinguish the first announcement from appearances listed in that later update. The releases do not establish a tour-wide show count, attendance total, or gross, so none is inferred here.

Added U.S. leg and fall dates
The second U.S. leg began August 15 in San Diego and traveled through California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Colorado, and Texas. Further dates were listed for Atlanta, Georgia; Franklin, Tennessee; Boston, Massachusetts; Mashantucket, Connecticut; and New York City. The last listed concert was September 12, 2022, at the Beacon Theatre. The June 21 extension announcement provides the expanded itinerary and its venue details.
What the concerts featured
The extension announcement says the setlists drew from both Raising Sand and Raise The Roof, alongside reworked Led Zeppelin songs. It names “The Battle of Evermore,” “Rock & Roll,” and “When The Levee Breaks”; that is not a complete set list.
JD McPherson opened all U.S. performances, according to the same announcement. The backing band included Jay Bellerose, Dennis Crouch, Stuart Duncan, and Viktor Krauss.
A Philadelphia date: the Mann’s June 12 event
The archived Highmark Mann event page identifies JD McPherson as the guest for the June 12, 2022 concert and lists doors at 6:30 p.m. and showtime at 8 p.m. Its historical ticket range was $35–$179.50, with a separate $5 day-of-show charge. Those were event-specific 2022 prices, not tour-wide rates or current ticket prices.

The Mann page also recorded that venue’s 2022 bag restriction: a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or a small non-clear clutch; backpacks were not allowed. That archived policy applies to that venue and event, not to other stops or current events. Check the relevant venue’s current rules before attending.
Plant described the songs on the Mann event page as “songs that have gone into our hearts way back in time, but got lost in the twists and curves of the passing years,” adding, “You hear them and you go ‘Man, listen to that song, we got to sing that song!’ It’s a vacation, really—the perfect place to go that you least expected to find.”

The final listed stop: Beacon Theatre
The Beacon Theatre event page confirms the September 12, 2022 New York date and lists JD McPherson as special guest. It corroborates the closing date in the tour’s expanded itinerary; it is not a guide to current venue policies.
