Those listings establish them as announced performers, not necessarily as a verified account of who appeared onstage: the venue warned that the lineup could change.
Who was on the announced lineup?
Event producer Blackbird Presents listed 21 performers for the tribute: Trey Anastasio, Ryan Bingham, Mike Campbell, Eric Church, Eric Clapton, Warren Haynes, Bruce Hornsby, Jim James, Jamey Johnson, Daniel Lanois, Taj Mahal, Van Morrison, Margo Price, Robert Randolph, Nathaniel Rateliff, Allison Russell, Mavis Staples, Benmont Tench, Don Was, Bobby Weir, and Lucinda Williams. Blackbird Presents’ event page is the source for that roster.
The Kia Forum’s event listing also named Clapton and Anastasio, but included Elvis Costello, who is not on the producer’s current archived list. The venue stated, “Lineup subject to change.” The two published rosters therefore should not be merged or treated as a definitive as-performed roll call. The Kia Forum listing provides the venue’s version and qualification.
When and where was the tribute?
Life Is a Carnival: A Musical Celebration of Robbie Robertson took place Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, in the Los Angeles area. The venue’s historical schedule listed terrace access at 5:00 p.m., doors at 6:00 p.m., and showtime at 7:00 p.m. These were event-day times, not current ticket or venue guidance. The venue event page lists the schedule.

What music did the show celebrate?
Blackbird Presents described the concert as featuring Robbie Robertson’s solo work alongside classic songs from The Band. The official event information does not provide a complete set list or identify which songs Clapton or Anastasio performed, so their individual contributions cannot be established from the lineup alone.
