What is Rihanna’s net worth?
Forbes put Rihanna’s estimated net worth at $1 billion in its 2025 coverage of the richest women celebrities. The publication said the estimate had fallen by about $400 million from the previous year. It is a publisher’s estimate of personal wealth, not a verified account of her assets and debts: the underlying assumptions and her liabilities are not fully disclosed. Forbes’ 2025 profile attributed the decline to setbacks at key businesses and estimated flat sales at Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty.
How Fenty Beauty figures fit into her wealth
Fenty Beauty is central to the business side of Rihanna’s fortune, but its sales and possible company value are not the same as money she personally earned or received.
Ownership and reported sale exploration
In an October 21, 2025 report, Reuters said Rihanna and LVMH each owned 50% of Fenty Beauty, and that LVMH was working with Evercore as it explored selling its stake. The report described an exploration, not a completed sale, so it does not establish that ownership changed. Reuters also described Kendo as LVMH’s in-house beauty incubator. Reuters’ report attributed the ownership and sale-process details to people familiar with the matter.

The brand’s official FAQ describes Rihanna as founder, CEO and an owner of Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Fenty Hair and Fenty Fragrance, and calls those businesses joint ventures between Rihanna and Kendo Brands. That brand-level description does not establish that every Fenty-branded business has the same ownership terms as Fenty Beauty.
Sales are not personal income
Reuters reported that Fenty Beauty generated around $450 million in net sales in 2024, citing people familiar with the matter. The same report said the business could be valued at $1 billion to $2 billion. That was a prospective, source-attributed valuation range amid LVMH’s exploration—not a completed transaction price. Sales are company revenue; a company valuation estimates the value of the business; neither figure tells readers how much cash Rihanna personally received.
Why older Fenty valuations should stay in their year
Forbes’ 2021 estimates put Rihanna’s net worth at $1.7 billion, the value attributed to her Fenty Beauty stake at $1.4 billion, and her Savage X Fenty stake at $270 million. These are historical estimates, not current valuations. They should not be combined with Fenty Beauty’s 2024 sales or Forbes’ 2025 net-worth estimate as if all figures shared a date or method. How music contributes—and what is not known
Forbes identifies music as one source of Rihanna’s wealth, alongside cosmetics, and its coverage also discusses Savage X Fenty. Music is part of a diversified portfolio, but the sources cited here do not give a current dollar amount or percentage for music income. They do not break out record royalties, publishing, touring, acting or brand income in a way that supports a reliable music-versus-business calculation.
