The dispute began on the cast’s Puerto Rico trip, where Jessel Taank said she had told Ubah Hassan what Brynn had been saying about her. The ensuing finale confrontation carried into the two-part reunion, where Brynn said she felt unsupported and Ubah apologized.
What set off the Puerto Rico confrontation?
In Bravo’s Jan. 21, 2025 post-finale account, Jessel said she had told Ubah what Brynn had been saying about her. That disclosure brought the disagreement into the open and put Brynn and Ubah at its center. The official account describes the sequence shown around the finale; it does not independently establish precisely what was said off camera or whether anyone intended to misrepresent it. Bravo’s post-finale interview
Brynn characterized the clash as a “battle royale” between herself and Ubah, comparing it to the prior season’s Anguilla conflict. That was Brynn’s description of the situation, not a neutral finding about either woman’s conduct.
Why did cast members accuse Brynn of lying?
The reunion coverage framed the argument around allegations connected to the final night in Puerto Rico. Peacock’s description of Reunion Part 1 says Sai De Silva accused Brynn of “constantly lying”; its Part 2 description says Brynn addressed allegations she had made on that final night. Those descriptions establish that the accusation was aired, not that it was proven. Peacock’s reunion guide and Bravo’s Reunion Part 2 page

Because the available network and streaming accounts report an edited reality-TV episode and reunion, they cannot settle the truth or intent behind each disputed remark. The careful distinction is that cast members accused Brynn of lying; the coverage does not establish that she did.
What happened at the reunion?
Brynn told the cast she was hurt because she felt “no one really comforted me” after the finale. Jenna Lyons responded that the women could love Brynn while also feeling angry or frustrated with things she had done. Lyons’s response acknowledged both the relationship and the disagreement rather than treating them as mutually exclusive.

What did Brynn and Jessel say after the finale?
In Bravo’s Jan. 21 interview, Brynn described the Puerto Rico clash as “Anguilla 2.0” and said the “battle royale” was now between her and Ubah. Jessel reflected on telling Ubah what Brynn had said, saying she felt she had done the right thing but also felt she had “lit this s— on fire.” Both comments are the women’s own retrospective accounts, not independent verification of the underlying claims.
