Lauren Manzo confirmed on October 24, 2023, that she and Vito Scalia were divorcing. Later reporting said a judge approved the divorce in November 2024, although that account of the court documents has not been independently verified here.
When did Lauren Manzo and Vito Scalia divorce?
The public announcement, reported filing and later report of a court decision are separate milestones:
- September 5, 2023: Scalia reportedly filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Us Weekly attributed the date and stated grounds to documents obtained by The Sun; the documents were not independently reviewed for this article. Us Weekly’s filing report.
- September 29, 2023: Manzo was reportedly served, according to the same Us Weekly account of the documents.
- October 24, 2023: Manzo confirmed the divorce in a video shared on Instagram. Bravo and Entertainment Tonight reported her announcement.
- November 2024: A later Us Weekly report said, citing the Daily Mail’s account of court documents, that a judge approved the divorce that month. This is a secondary report, not independent confirmation from the judgment itself. Us Weekly’s 2025 report.
What did Lauren Manzo say about the split?
Manzo described the decision as mutual and said the filing was the final step in a process that had been underway for a long time. “This has been done for a very long time,” she said, according to Bravo’s account of her video. She added, “The last part of the process was filing. We were on the same page.”
Manzo also said she and Scalia remained on good terms and would continue moving forward as a family. She asked for privacy for their daughter, saying, “All that matters to us is that our daughter is happy and healthy. Her privacy is important to us.”

What is known about their marriage?
Manzo and Scalia married in July 2015. They have a daughter, Marchesa Anna Scalia, whom coverage refers to as Markie; Bravo reported that she was born in February 2017. Manzo’s stated request for privacy is a reason to keep details about their child out of the divorce story unless they are necessary to answer a reader’s question.

“Irreconcilable differences” was the legal ground attributed to the reported filing, not a public explanation of private events or a fuller account of why the marriage ended. Manzo’s own public description was that the decision was mutual and that the process had been going on for a long time. The available reporting does not establish additional personal reasons, and reported settlement or custody terms should not be treated as independently verified facts.
