El médico forense del condado de Los Ángeles determinó que Ryan Kobayashi murió por múltiples lesiones traumáticas por fuerza contundente y clasificó su muerte como suicidio, según informó ABC7. Ryan tenía 58 años y fue encontrado el 24 de noviembre de 2024 en un estacionamiento cerca del Aeropuerto Internacional de Los Ángeles (LAX); el hallazgo forense se emitió al día siguiente.

La causa física de la muerte fue múltiples lesiones traumáticas por fuerza contundente. La manera de muerte fue clasificada como suicidio. Son dos datos distintos del dictamen que ABC7 atribuyó al médico forense del condado de Los Ángeles.
Quién era Ryan Kobayashi y cuándo fue encontrado
Ryan viajó desde Maui a Los Ángeles para ayudar a buscar a su hija, Hannah Kobayashi, quien entonces estaba desaparecida. ABC7 informó que su cuerpo fue encontrado alrededor de las 4 a. m. del 24 de noviembre de 2024, cerca de LAX; la determinación forense se emitió el 25 de noviembre. Lo que se supo después sobre Hannah
En una cobertura posterior, Associated Press señaló que la familia confirmó que Ryan murió por suicidio y que Hannah fue encontrada sana y salva. Ese desenlace posterior no modifica la determinación forense comunicada en noviembre de 2024.
