GamesBeat’s Mike Minotti described Moltenpanther’s recreation as covering the Spencer Mansion’s interior and exterior, along with its courtyard and residence building. The feature also included comparison images from the game. Moltenpanther had originally shared the build on Reddit, according to GamesBeat’s feature, published February 4, 2013 and updated June 18, 2025.

Was Moltenpanther’s map released, and can you still download it?
Yes, the creator announced its release on June 14, 2013. In the Minecraft Forum thread for “Resident Evil: Remake,” Moltenpanther wrote, “It is now released! Download link is at the bottom of the original post.” That confirms the historical release, but not whether the link still works today. The opened sources do not establish the exact Minecraft version required, either. Check the original Minecraft Forum thread for any surviving download and compatibility details before trying to use it.
Later Spencer Mansion maps are different projects
Several independent creators have published their own Minecraft interpretations of the mansion. Their formats, edition labels, and stated fidelity differ, so they should not be mistaken for Moltenpanther’s 2013 build.

A separate Raccoon City build, listed March 4, 2024, draws inspiration from several Resident Evil games and remakes and includes the Spencer Mansion among its settings. Its creator says it uses standard blocks and command blocks, without mods or texture packs.
