What does the masters acquisition mean?
A Marie Claire report published May 30, 2025, said Swift had purchased the masters to her first six albums, including Reputation. The report’s headline interprets the purchase as meaning the re-recording will not happen, but that interpretation is not proof that a future release is impossible or a definitive statement of Swift’s plans.
