If your Regal ticket is missing or the app will not load, check your confirmation email before trying to buy again. An email with the movie, showtime and QR code or barcode is the fastest fallback. If you bought while signed in, Regal says the ticket should appear in the app under My Tickets when you use the same Crown Club or Regal Unlimited account. A card charge by itself does not prove a ticket was issued.
First, check whether the purchase went through
Before troubleshooting or submitting another payment, look for evidence of an issued ticket. Search your inbox for “Regal,” the theater name, the movie title or an order number. Check spam, promotions, junk and deleted folders too.
- Look for the theater, movie, date, showtime and seats, plus an order or confirmation number.
- Check whether the message contains a QR code or barcode.
- Review the payment method for a pending authorization, a posted charge, or a declined or reversed transaction.
A posted charge together with a confirmation email is a strong sign the order completed. A pending authorization without an email or ticket is not proof of admission; payment and ticketing records may take time to reconcile. If an error appeared but a confirmation email arrived, treat the purchase as potentially successful and verify it before retrying.
If the movie starts soon, use the fastest fallback
- Open the confirmation email and display its QR code or barcode. Save the image on your phone or print the confirmation if that helps you access it.
- If the code will not scan or you cannot retrieve it, call or visit the theater box office. Give them the purchaser’s name and email, movie, showtime, seats and order number. Bring payment evidence; the theater may ask for the last four digits of the payment method.
- If the theater cannot locate the order, contact Regal through its customer-support portal and include the order details.
Regal says responses to its contact portal typically take 24–48 hours, so it may not solve a same-day admission problem in time. The theater is the more practical first contact when the show is imminent. Theater procedures can vary, so keep the original email and order number available if a saved image or printout does not scan.

Make a website purchase appear in the Regal app
Regal’s instructions apply when the purchase was made while signed in to the relevant Crown Club or Regal Unlimited account. Update the app, use that same account, then look for the upcoming show in My Tickets. Regal’s current instructions are on its Mobile App Help Center.
- Install or update the Regal app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Sign in with the same email address or account credentials used during the purchase.
- Open My Tickets and select the upcoming movie and showtime.
- Show the ticket QR code to theater staff, or use the confirmation email if the app still does not display it.
A guest purchase, a different email address, or a Crown Club number linked to another account may keep a ticket from appearing in your list. Do not assume every web purchase can be imported into the app; use the order confirmation or ask Regal or the theater to locate it.

Fix an app that is stuck loading or logging you out
Try these steps in order. If the movie is close to starting, stop once you have a usable confirmation or have contacted the theater rather than spending the remaining time troubleshooting.
- Force-close the app and reopen it.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and cellular data. Temporarily turn off a VPN, private relay, ad blocker or restrictive network filter.
- Sign out and back in, checking that the account matches the one used to purchase. Use Forgot Password if you cannot authenticate.
- Update Regal from the Apple App Store or Google Play, then restart the phone.
- On Android, clear the app cache. Avoid clearing app storage unless you know your login details.
- On iPhone, delete and reinstall the app if the earlier steps do not help.
Regal recommends using the latest app version. User reviews and community posts describe loading screens, missing tickets and app-only failures, but those reports are anecdotal: they do not establish that a fix will work for every account or that Regal is experiencing a nationwide outage.

If the Regal website is not working either
- Try a desktop browser, a private or incognito window, or a different browser.
- Disable a VPN or aggressive content-blocking extension temporarily, and test a different network.
- Check the selected theater, date, format and showtime in case the showing changed or is not on sale.
- Do not repeatedly submit payment. Check your email and payment activity first.
If both app and website fail, the cause could be account-related, device-related or service-side; available evidence does not confirm a general consumer-ticketing outage. The Regal Statuspage listed publicly concerns Regal AI services and is not definitive evidence of consumer app or website availability.
Why a ticket may be missing
- Different account: The app and purchase may use different emails, Crown Club numbers or sessions.
- Guest checkout: The ticket may be tied to the purchase email rather than an account’s ticket list.
- Synchronization or display problem: A successful order may not immediately show in the app.
- Showtime change: A theater, format or showing may have changed or been withdrawn.
- Unresolved transaction: A pending payment or error screen may not correspond to an issued ticket.
Reports from app-store reviewers and Regal community discussions describe some of these situations, including tickets bought for someone else that do not appear in the other person’s app. They are examples from individual users, not official policy or a measure of how often each problem occurs.

Avoid and resolve a duplicate charge
If you retried after an error, compare the number of confirmation emails and order numbers with your payment activity. Two pending transactions are not necessarily two completed purchases; check whether they post before concluding that you were charged twice. Do not cancel or request a refund for the wrong order.
If there are two orders, contact Regal with both order numbers and ask which tickets are valid and how to handle the duplicate. Contact your payment provider if you suspect an unauthorized charge, or if the merchant cannot resolve a settled duplicate. Pending-authorization release times vary by bank and payment method, so no fixed disappearance date can be assumed.

Refunds and cancellations
Regal’s stated general policy allows eligible tickets to be refunded up to 60 minutes before showtime. For an online or app purchase, use the refund link in the confirmation email or Regal’s Tickets and Cancellations help page or contact form. Refunds go back to the original card or gift card. Online convenience fees are not refunded, and redeemed Crown Club credits cannot be restored or reused, according to Regal’s app help page.
The cutoff is Regal’s general stated policy, not a guarantee for every transaction or special event. If the cutoff has passed or the show has started, the outcome may depend on Regal’s discretion and the theater’s handling. Keep the confirmation and order details if you cannot access the ticket.
