Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare launched on December 2, 2025. As of October 8, 2026, Rockstar lists the games for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, iOS and Android; Netflix membership provides access to the mobile versions, not a separate console-streaming edition. The release includes the complete single-player experiences and bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition, but no multiplayer content.
What is included in the release?
The release brings together the complete single-player campaigns of Red Dead Redemption and its horror-themed expansion Undead Nightmare, plus bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition. The frame-rate, HDR, resolution and DLSS details above are Rockstar’s announced platform features, not independent testing or a comparison of how the game performs in practice. Rockstar announced up to 4K on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S and 60 frames per second on Switch 2; the cited sources do not provide comparative benchmark measurements.

Is the December 2 release still upcoming?
No. The date was December 2, 2025, and the release has already taken place. Take-Two’s February 3, 2026 investor release independently confirms that the console and Netflix releases occurred on that date.
