Spoiler warning: This explainer discusses Hajun’s appearance and fight in Round Six of Record of Ragnarok.

Hajun is the “legendary berserker of Helheim” who appears when Zerofuku transforms during Round Six. He becomes Buddha’s opponent and launches an all-out assault that forces Buddha to get serious, according to VIZ’s Record of Ragnarok, Vol. 13 synopsis.

Who is Hajun in Record of Ragnarok?

Hajun is a combatant who emerges through Zerofuku’s transformation in the Round Six story. VIZ identifies him in its Volume 13 synopsis as the legendary berserker of Helheim. He is not introduced there as a separate human representative or as a conventional god wielding a named weapon; the publisher’s summary presents him as the threat that appears through Zerofuku and confronts Buddha.

The series is a manga created by Takumi Fukui, Shinya Umemura, and Azychika. VIZ describes its premise as a contest that determines humanity’s survival. Hajun’s role is specifically tied to the Buddha fight, rather than to the series’ broader tournament premise.

How does Hajun appear, and who does he fight?

In Round Six, Zerofuku transforms into Hajun. VIZ’s official English-language synopsis for Volume 13 confirms the transformation and names Buddha as Hajun’s opponent. It describes Hajun launching an all-out assault, giving the fight its immediate stakes: Buddha faces an opponent whose attack is serious enough to make him respond in kind.

The synopsis establishes that broad sequence, but it does not explain the transformation’s exact mechanics or provide a blow-by-blow account. For those details, the manga itself is the appropriate source.

What are Hajun’s powers and fighting style?

What the publisher confirms

VIZ characterizes Hajun as a berserker and describes his attack on Buddha as an all-out assault. Its synopsis does not name a catalogue of techniques, quantify his strength or speed, or explain the rules behind his abilities. Those limits matter: a broad publisher summary supports describing him as an aggressive and dangerous fighter, but it cannot establish detailed power rankings or precise mechanics.

Body-based combat and precognition claims

A fan-maintained Hajun reference page describes him as able to manipulate his body and says this interferes with Buddha’s precognition. That is secondary-source interpretation, not an ability list confirmed by the publisher material cited here. Treat it as a guide to what to examine in the fight, not as proof of exact limits or a universal immunity to foresight.

The useful distinction is between what a reader can observe in the manga—Hajun’s attacks and how his body is depicted—and an explanation of why those actions work. The latter should be stated as canon only when the manga itself supports it. Claims that Hajun is immune to every kind of foresight or soul-related ability, or that he ranks above other fighters, are not established by the publisher synopsis.
