Reba McEntire said in February 2024 that reports claiming she was leaving The Voice were false. She said fake websites were using the claim to draw fans toward weight-loss gummies she did not sell or promote. As of October 8, 2026, she is not among the coaches for season 30, but that absence does not establish a permanent departure or rule out a future return.
What Reba said about the 2024 rumor
In a February 25, 2024 post on X, McEntire urged fans not to click articles saying she was leaving The Voice. E! News reproduced her statement: “This is not true.” She explained that fake websites were using the claim as clickbait while asserting that she had a company selling weight-loss gummies. McEntire said, “I do not sell or promote any type of gummy product.” (E! News)

Her correction concerned that specific claim and its connection to the gummy-product promotion. It was not a pledge to coach on every later season.
Is Reba McEntire on The Voice season 30?
No. NBCUniversal’s September 17, 2026 announcement named Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Queen Latifah, and Riley Green as the season 30 coaches. Peacock’s series page lists the same four. Neither source includes McEntire. (NBCUniversal; Peacock)

McEntire acknowledged the new season in a September 21, 2026 post, wishing its coaches and contestants well. Good Housekeeping reports that she wrote, “Glad I got to keep that chair warm for a few seasons…” and described sending her love to the coaches. The message is supportive, but it does not announce whether she will return. (Good Housekeeping)
Which seasons did Reba coach?
According to Good Housekeeping, McEntire coached seasons 24, 25, 26, and 28. Her official website announced in May 2023 that she would join as a coach for season 24; the site also says she served as a Mega Mentor in season 23. (Good Housekeeping; Reba McEntire official site)

Has Reba announced a permanent exit or a return?
The available season 30 roster confirms that she is not coaching that season. The sources cited here do not establish a permanent exit, and they do not confirm a return in a future season. Her 2024 denial should therefore be read as a correction of the false story circulating at that time—not as a statement about every season since.
