Rachel Dratch, not Australian breaker Rachael Gunn, appeared as Gunn’s Olympic persona Raygun in a comedy bit during Jimmy Fallon’s monologue on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The parody referenced breaking at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
What happened in the Raygun parody?
As Fallon recapped the Paris 2024 Olympics, he asked where Raygun was. Dratch then made a surprise entrance in an outfit matching Gunn’s and performed a dance parody. The show’s official clip describes Dratch as interrupting Fallon’s monologue as Gunn to show off her breakdancing moves from the Olympics.

Who is Raygun, and who played her?
Raygun is the nickname of Australian breaker Rachael Gunn. Dratch portrayed Gunn for the Tonight Show segment; Gunn herself did not perform the parody. The similar first names can make the clip easy to misidentify, so the distinction matters when searching for it.
When did the segment air?
The Tonight Show published its official clip on August 12, 2024. ABC Audio reported the appearance on August 13 and described it as taking place Monday night, consistent with the clip’s publication date.
