Mara Cifuentes es una modelo colombiana y personalidad televisiva que ganó notoriedad al participar en el reality de Caracol Televisión La Agencia: Batalla de modelos. Desde entonces, su trayectoria pública ha incluido otras apariciones en televisión y, según una entrevista publicada en abril de 2026, el proyecto cinematográfico Tu reina.
Por qué se hizo conocida
Su principal salto a la atención nacional llegó con La Agencia: Batalla de modelos, el concurso de modelaje de Caracol Televisión. El Espectador informó en 2019 que Cifuentes no ganó el certamen, pero que su participación la dio a conocer ante una audiencia más amplia. En ese perfil, el medio la presentó como una mujer trans y relató que llegó al programa para demostrar su capacidad como modelo. El Espectador, 23 de marzo de 2019.
Sus comienzos en el modelaje
El perfil de El Espectador situó su nacimiento en San Francisco, California, y señaló que comenzó a modelar a los 17 años con el apoyo de su madre, Claudia López, diseñadora de moda. Esos datos corresponden a lo reportado por ese medio; no constituyen una verificación biográfica independiente.
En la misma entrevista, Cifuentes describió haber comenzado su proceso durante la adolescencia. Se trata de su relato personal, no de una experiencia que pueda generalizarse a todas las personas trans. El Espectador, 23 de marzo de 2019.

En septiembre de 2019, Noticias Caracol publicó una entrevista con Cifuentes en el programa Los Informantes, centrada en su experiencia personal y el paso a la vida pública. Noticias Caracol, 22 de septiembre de 2019.
Ojos de mujer
TV Latina informó en agosto de 2023 que Cifuentes participó como invitada en Ojos de mujer, programa de E! Entertainment, para compartir su historia. Esa nota confirma una aparición de ese año, no su participación en temporadas posteriores. Caracol TV mantiene una página editorial de actualidad sobre Cifuentes.

Tu reina
En una entrevista publicada el 7 de abril de 2026, PRODU vinculó a Cifuentes con el proyecto cinematográfico Tu reina. Allí, ella habló del significado del proyecto tras años de audiciones y de la representación de personas trans en el cine colombiano. La entrevista no establece por sí sola la fecha de estreno ni dónde se podrá ver la película. PRODU, 7 de abril de 2026.
Qué se sabe de su edad y vida personal
Las fuentes de perfil citadas no permiten establecer con suficiente corroboración su edad o fecha de nacimiento. Tampoco es necesario especular sobre datos íntimos para explicar su trayectoria pública: lo más pertinente es su trabajo en el modelaje, la televisión y el proyecto cinematográfico mencionado por PRODU.
