A Rock World passou a produzir e operar o Lollapalooza Brasil a partir de 2024, em parceria com a C3 Presents. A mudança foi anunciada em 2023, depois do encerramento do contrato da T4F com o festival. Isso diz respeito à produção local: não significa que a Rock World tenha comprado o Lollapalooza ou se tornado dona de sua marca global.
Quem organiza o Lollapalooza Brasil?
Desde 2024, a produção e a operação brasileiras do festival são conduzidas pela Rock World em parceria com a C3 Presents. O material institucional do The Town/Rock World descreveu a mudança como uma nova etapa da produção local; o balanço da companhia referente a 2024 também registra a organização do festival em colaboração com a C3.
Por isso, a resposta mais precisa não é que a Rock World opera o evento sozinha. A parceria com a C3 faz parte da formulação apresentada pelas próprias fontes corporativas.
Qual é a relação da Rock World com o Rock in Rio?
A Rock World se apresenta como uma empresa de experiências que nasceu do Rock in Rio e também está ligada ao The Town. Essa origem ajuda a explicar a associação entre as marcas, mas não altera o papel da C3 na operação do Lollapalooza Brasil: as fontes descrevem uma parceria entre as empresas.

O que aconteceu com a T4F?
Em 31 de março de 2023, o gshow noticiou que a Rock World passaria a produzir o festival no Brasil no ano seguinte, após o fim do contrato de dez anos da T4F. Segundo a reportagem, a T4F havia realizado oito edições desde que levou o Lollapalooza ao Autódromo de Interlagos, em 2014.
O gshow atribuiu a decisão à Live Nation e reproduziu uma nota da T4F segundo a qual a empresa optou por centralizar no Brasil a operação de seus festivais com a Rock World. Essa explicação é da nota da T4F reproduzida pela reportagem, não uma declaração atribuível à Rock World.

- Significa: a Rock World assumiu a produção e a operação local a partir de 2024, em colaboração com a C3 Presents.
- Não significa: que a Rock World tenha comprado o Lollapalooza ou se tornado proprietária global da marca. As fontes tratam da operação brasileira.
- Não permite concluir: que a configuração contratual descrita para 2024 permaneça igual em todas as edições futuras. A confirmação disponível estabelece a mudança a partir daquele ano e registra a organização do festival no exercício de 2024.
