Qué reveló la autopsia
El País informó el 26 de octubre de 2021 que la autopsia apuntó a una muerte por lesiones y traumatismo craneoencefálico. La cobertura describió ese resultado como contrario a las primeras versiones sobre la causa de muerte: a finales de agosto de 2021 se había difundido en las redes de Cipolat una publicación que decía que tenía COVID-19, y un certificado de defunción citado por el medio indicaba angina de pecho. Esas versiones fueron reportadas como comunicaciones y documentación iniciales, no como conclusiones forenses confirmadas.
El informe forense íntegro no está reproducido en las fuentes consultadas. Univision recogió declaraciones de Nicolás Cipolat, hijo de Daniel, quien dijo que su padre había recibido múltiples golpes y que uno en la cabeza había sido letal. Ese detalle debe entenderse como la versión del hijo, no como una cita directa del informe de autopsia.
Cómo encontraron a Daniel Cipolat
El País informó que el cuerpo fue hallado el 13 de septiembre de 2021, enterrado en el jardín de una vivienda de Cancún. Según la Fiscalía citada por el periódico, el entierro era ilegal. El hallazgo se produjo después de que las redes sociales de Cipolat anunciaran su muerte el 6 de septiembre.

Qué se sabe de la investigación y la situación procesal
Las noticias distinguieron varias actuaciones que no deben confundirse. El 26 de octubre de 2021, El País informó que la familia había presentado una denuncia por homicidio calificado. En esa misma cobertura, Linda Uribe fue descrita como imputada por inhumación ilegal, no por homicidio. Una denuncia o imputación no demuestra culpabilidad.
El 22 de noviembre de 2021, PorEsto reportó que se había obtenido una orden de aprehensión contra Uribe. Ese reporte, por sí solo, no confirma que la orden se ejecutara ni que ella fuera detenida.
