La familia pidió a quienes pensaran enviar flores que destinaran ese apoyo a la repatriación de los cuerpos. La petición fue reportada junto con el comunicado por Noticias Caracol/EFE.
Qué se sabe del accidente
El accidente ocurrió el 4 de enero de 2024 cerca de Petit Nevis, en San Vicente y las Granadinas. El vuelo había partido de Bequia. En su cobertura inicial, la policía identificó entre las víctimas a las hijas de Oliver, Madita Klepser y Annik Klepser, y al piloto Robert Sachs. Associated Press informó el 5 de enero que no estaba claro qué había causado el accidente.

El País informó que el piloto había comunicado dificultades y que regresaría, pero su cobertura inicial también señaló que la causa no estaba aclarada. El reporte de El País se publicó el 5 de enero de 2024. Por tanto, los problemas de motor deben presentarse como parte de lo que dijo la familia, no como una conclusión técnica independiente sobre el siniestro.
