The publisher still provides current download routes, but its official site does not establish that version 3.8 remains available there. An archived 3.8.0 APK listing exists on a third-party site; it is not the current game.
What was in the PUBG MOBILE 3.8 update?
PUBG MOBILE announced version 3.8 on May 7, 2025, with rollout beginning May 8. Branded Steampunk Frontier, the update introduced a steampunk setting and new travel mechanics alongside its Attack on Titan themed mode. The publisher’s version announcement said rollout would begin without interrupting service.
The Attack on Titan mode was listed for Erangel, Livik, and Rondo, from May 7, 2025 at 02:00 through July 6, 2025 at 20:59 UTC. Those dates are past; the collaboration should be understood as a historical event, not a currently playable mode.
What did the Attack on Titan collaboration add?
ODM gear and Titan transformations
The collaboration featured ODM gear and a compressed gas cylinder. Attack Titan Serum and Titan Serum enabled players to transform into an Attack Titan or a Pure Titan, respectively, according to the official collaboration page.

The event page also identifies Utgard Castle and Eren Jaeger’s basement. A Google Play event listing named Eren, Levi, Mikasa, and Armin and mentioned themed outfits and companions. These were event-related offerings; the listing does not establish that the rewards remain obtainable now. See the Google Play listing for its event information.
Where can you download PUBG MOBILE now?
For a current installation, use the download options linked from the official PUBG MOBILE site: App Store, Google Play, or the publisher’s APK route. Availability can vary by region. The site currently describes its APK as 1.2 GB; that is a current-site detail and not the size of the 3.8 package.

The official download page does not show that the specific 3.8 build is still available through those channels. The current game and the archived 3.8.0 package are different download cases:
| Option | Source and version | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Current PUBG MOBILE | Publisher’s official site, which links to current App Store, Google Play, and APK routes. The page currently describes a 1.2 GB APK; it does not state that this is version 3.8. | Players seeking the current game. Check regional availability. |
| Version 3.8.0 archive | APKMirror third-party archive; its listing dates the upload to May 8, 2025, identifies Android 5.0+ variants, and describes an archived bundle signed by KRAFTON. The page lists later versions too. | People researching the historical build. It is not the publisher’s current download route. |
What to know before using an archived APK
An archived APK is an old build, not a substitute for the publisher’s current release. APKMirror is a third-party archive, and its listing is not a PUBG MOBILE endorsement. The listing’s signature and Android-version details describe that archive entry; they do not establish that installing it is appropriate for your device or that it will provide the current game experience.
