Project Kyzen’s announced launch date was August 22, 2024, but the available sources do not confirm that the game launched then or that it is currently available. The August 14 announcement described a Bruce Lee avatar collaboration with the Bruce Lee Family Company, five Mini Battle Arena modes, and themed customization items players could purchase or unlock.
What was announced about Project Kyzen and Bruce Lee?
Impact Theory’s August 14, 2024 announcement presented the Bruce Lee avatar as a collaboration with the Bruce Lee Family Company. It described Project Kyzen as a fast-paced third-person game featuring five Mini Battle Arena (MiBA) modes. The announcement also said players could purchase or unlock Bruce Lee-themed skins, accessories, and apparel as digital in-game customization items.
Tom Bilyeu, Impact Theory’s CEO and co-founder, said, “Integrating Bruce’s timeless wisdom and iconic persona into Project Kyzen is a dream come true.” Shannon Lee, CEO of the Bruce Lee Family Company, described the game as “a great fit with my father’s approach to entertainment and life.” She also said the company saw gaming as a way to bring Bruce Lee’s teachings and martial arts to fans who admire him but are not martial arts practitioners. Was August 22, 2024 a confirmed release date?
No. August 22, 2024 was the date named in the announcement, not an independently verified release. GamesBeat reported the planned date on August 16, 2024, but that coverage does not establish that the launch took place. The distinction matters: old launch coverage and a planned date are not proof that a game is now downloadable or playable.

What does the official site say now?
As accessed October 8, 2026, the official Project Kyzen site markets a fast-paced third-person game, promotes five MiBA modes, and says a Progress Pass can unlock the Bruce Lee avatar and outfits. That marketing does not establish the game’s release status, present availability, price, supported platforms, or whether the Progress Pass or customization offer is active. The site lists questions about some of those matters, but the retrieved page text does not answer them.
What platforms and purchases were mentioned?
Layer Licensing described Project Kyzen as a PC fighting game on its August 16, 2024 licensing page. That is a dated listing, not confirmation of current PC compatibility or system requirements. The sources do not establish current price, controller support, server operation, or other platforms.

The announcement’s purchase-or-unlock wording referred to digital items inside the game, not physical Bruce Lee merchandise. It also named Bruce Lee’s Tao of Jeet Kune Do as an influence on Tom Bilyeu; the book is supplementary reading, not a requirement to play. Layer Licensing’s Project Kyzen listing.

- Whether Project Kyzen launched on August 22, 2024, and whether it is available now.
- Current platforms, system requirements, price, controller support, and server status.
- Whether the Progress Pass and Bruce Lee-themed customization items can still be obtained.
Do not treat the planned date, the historical PC listing, or the current promotional language as answers to those questions. GamesBeat’s August 16, 2024 coverage, updated June 18, 2025, likewise reports the launch plan rather than independently confirming the release.
