First identify which PRISM list is changing: tracks in a desktop Music Playlist, saved sources in My Studio, or a mobile media playlist. PRISM documents how to reorder each of these, but its official instructions do not establish why an order unexpectedly changes or reverts. Use the matching control below, and do not treat playback settings as an ordering fix.
Identify the list and platform
“Media source playlist order” can refer to different things in PRISM Live Studio. Before troubleshooting, note whether you are using desktop or mobile and what items are moving.
- Desktop Music Playlist: individual music tracks inside a playlist.
- My Studio: saved sources whose order you want to change.
- Mobile Media Playlist: video items or a saved music playlist.
The reorder control depends on which list you mean; the documented instructions do not identify a general setting that stops an unexpected reset.
Reorder tracks in a desktop Music Playlist
- Open the Music Playlist window for the relevant source.
- Drag a track and drop it in the position you want.
- Check the sequence in the playlist window.
PRISM’s desktop guide documents drag-and-drop reordering for tracks in a Music Playlist: PRISM Live Studio desktop guide. This is the documented way to set the order; it is not an established fix for an order that later reverts.

Reorder saved sources in My Studio
The My Studio FAQ describes a mobile workflow for changing the order of saved sources:
- Open My Studio and choose Edit.
- Tap and hold a source.
- Move it to the desired position.
This applies to the order of saved sources, not to tracks within a desktop Music Playlist. See PRISM’s FAQ for the My Studio instruction.

Adjust order in a mobile Media Playlist
PRISM’s mobile guide covers playlists separately from the desktop Music Playlist window. It says video order can be adjusted, and saved music playlists can be edited in My Studio. Use the playlist’s own editing controls for the media type you are arranging; do not assume the desktop drag-and-drop steps or the My Studio source-order steps apply to every mobile list. See the PRISM Live Studio mobile guide.
Protect scene information while investigating
PRISM says scene and source information is saved locally and recommends exporting a Scene Set file to preserve scenes before logging out. If you are investigating unexpected changes, export a Scene Set first so you have a preservation copy of your scene setup. The guide presents this as backup guidance, not as a repair for playlist order. See PRISM’s desktop guide.

When playback fails, check playback controls separately
If the actual problem is that media does not start or restart, rather than that items move in the list, consult the desktop Media Source guidance on Studio Mode playback, including the restart-playback option and applying changes in Studio Mode. Those controls concern playback behavior; the guide does not connect them to playlist ordering. See the desktop Media Source guide.
What to do if the order still changes
The official instructions document reordering controls, but do not establish a cause, affected version, or official workaround for an unexpected order reset. Avoid attributing it to a bug, sync behavior, an update, a sorting preference, or damaged configuration without evidence.

Or let it run in the cloud
If your larger goal is to keep uploaded videos playing live on YouTube, StreamNeo is a separate option from PRISM’s playlist-order controls: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo loops uploaded videos from the cloud, so no computer or home connection has to stay on. It streams the uploaded file as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot; it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. It is for YouTube streams of uploaded videos, not camera broadcasts.
